Call for paper

  • The aim of initiation of Linguistics Interest Special Session (LISS) in 2009 IEEE International Conference on Natural Language Processing and Knowledge Engineering (IEEE NLPKE'09) is to promote NLP-KE technology in the angle of linguistics and its interrelated research areas. The special session will give more concern on ideas of language analysis than implementation technologies. Prospective authors are invited to submit papers reporting original and previously unpublished work.


    • Topics of LISS but not limited to:

  • Theory of linguistics and Computational linguistics
  • Cognitive linguistics
  • Corpus linguistics
  • Corpus Technology and Development
  • Strategy of language analysis
  • Linguistic data construction (including dictionary, treebank etc.)

  • Acceptance Notification: 15 July, 2009
  • Early Registration: 15 Aug, 2009
