Having experienced more than 50 years' research and development, Artificial Intelligence is now stepping into a new era that can be symbolized as Advanced Intelligence. Typical features for Advanced Intelligence include at least (1) Close interactions and coordination between Natural Intelligence and Artificial Intelligence, (2) The frontiers in both Artificial Intelligence and Natural Intelligence, (3) Large-scale Distributed Intelligence and Web Intelligence.
In response to these new features and demands, a Multi-Conferences on Advanced Intelligence, MCAI for short, was formed as an umbrella with four well-organized international conferences in parallel. The titles of the four conferences are as follows:
1: The 1st International Conference on Advanced Intelligence (ICAI-08)
